PURPOSE:To improve electromagnetic conversion characteristics by incorporating a copolymer consisting of specific vinyl compds. having dialkylaminoalkyl groups and vinyl group-contg. monomer copolymerizable with the vinyl compds. into a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic layer contains the copolymer consisting of >=1 kinds of the vinyl compds. which have the dialkylaminoalkyl groups and are expressed by formula I and the vinyl group-contg. monomer copolymerizable with the vinyl compds. The good electromagnetic conversion characteristics are thereby exhibited.
