PURPOSE:To measure desired measurement points without moving a foot by setting a distance detector on a rotary ring which takes an optional attitude in a three-dimensional space and measuring the foot on a foot mount base arranged in the rotary ring. CONSTITUTION:An X-axial base 8, a Y-axial base 17, and a Z-axial bracket 38 which are movable in X-, Y-, and Y-axial directions are provided on a fundamental base 1. A fixed ring 60 is supported pivotally by the Z-axial bracket 38 and the rotary ring 75 is provided rotatably along the periphery of the fixed ring 60. Measurement data on the footprint of the foot mounted on the foot mount base 95 is obtained from the distance detector 90 set on the rotary ring 75. The respective movement displacement quantities of the X-axial base 8, Y-axial base 17, Z-axial bracket 38, fixed ring, and rotary ring 75 are detected by detectors 9, 18, 32, 86, etc.
