PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the exchange of power source of a stroboscope by pushing a shutter so as to release a mechanism which gives a mechanism impulse to a piezo power generating element which makes the stroboscope emit a light. CONSTITUTION:A stroboscope bulb 2 for the photographing of a camera 1, the piezo power generating element 3 and a hammer which gives the impulse to the piezo power generating element so as to generate the power are provided and the hammer 4 is equipped on one end of a lever 5 which is freely turned centering around an axis 6 and the hammer 4 is energized to the element 3 by a spring 7 mounted on the lever 4. By pushing a starting button 8, a lower end 11 is detached from the lever 5 and the hammer 4 is impulsively brought into contact with the element 3 with the force of restitution of the spring 7, so that a high voltage current generated in the element 3 is transmitted to the bulb 2 with a conductor 12 so as to emit the light and also open and close the shutter of the lens 13 of the camera 1. Thus, the battery for power source is not necessitated, so that the whole body can be minimized and lightened.
