PURPOSE:To enable a unit to perform its continuous operation balancing a control of the amount of oil, by providing an oil level controlling float valve in a compressor after the second stage while connecting the compressor to the suction side of a compressor in the preceding stage through the oil level controlling float valve to discharge only oil and providing a float valve in an oil separator in the delivery side of a compressor in the final stage. CONSTITUTION:He gas, containing oil, is cooled in a two-stage cooler 5, allowed to flow into an oil separator 6 and delivered from a compressor unit. The unit accumulates the separated oil in a float valve 15 discharging only the oil if it accumulates increasing to a fixed quantity, and the gas is sucked to a two-stage compressor 4. The unit continually performs circulation as a control cycle of oil successively in the order of one-stage compressor 1 two-stage compressor 4 oil separator 6 float valve 15 two-stage compressor 4 float valve 14 one-stage compressor 1. Consequently, a control of the amount of oil in each stage can be performed being well balanced.
