PURPOSE:To facilitate the register work of an unique keyword by discriminating duplication of a keyword and controlling the registration of the input keyword in accordance with the discrimination result to inhibit the registration of the same keyword as an already registered keyword. CONSTITUTION:If a keyword item is judged to be a unique item, already registered keywords stored in a keyword table 12 of a main storage device 2 are compared with the input keyword by a CPU 1. Then, it is discriminated whether the same keyword as the input keyword is already registered or not. The function of the CPU 1 or the like is used to execute a duplication deciding means by program control. If it is decided that the same keyword as the input keyword is already registered, the registration of the input keyword is inhibited because the input keyword is not unique, and an error message is displayed on a display device 3. The input keyword displayed on a picture is erased, and another keyword of an item is inputted.
