PURPOSE:To prevent abrasive wear, by rounding the projection edge of a groove, provided on the surface of a vibrating body. CONSTITUTION:An oscillatory wave motor is constituted by forming a multitude of radial grooves 2b on a surface, contacting a moving body, along the whole periphery of an annular vibrating body 2. The edges of the projection parts 2a of the vibrating body 2 are rounded. According to this method, abrasive wear will never be generated on the moving body 3, in contact with the vibrating body 2 with a pressure, by said projection parts 2a when a traveling bending oscillatory wave is generated in the vibrating body 2 and the amount of abrasion becomes sufficiently small whereby the durability of the moving body 3 may be improved. Further, the working of the vibrating body may be facilitated by forging. |
