<p>PURPOSE:To detect a fine current by a low-cost detector by arranging a magnetism sensing element which is arranged on a substrate by connecting four magneto-resistance elements into abridge nearby the gap of the yoke of a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The yoke 11 which has a gap 12 formed at its tip part by folding a plate type ferromagnetic body is wound with a coil 2 to constitute the magnetic head 1. A ferromagnetic material magneto-resistance body 3 is arranged at a specific interval from the tip of this yoke 11 and the Z-directional leak magnetic flux component of the leak magnetic flux from the gap 12 is detected. The ferromagnetic material magneto-resistance body 3 is constituted by forming ferromagnetic material magneto-resistance elements 31-34 on the main surface of the plate type substrate 301 by vapor deposition, etc., and yoke parts 35 and 36 are arranged outside the elements 31 and 32. A bias permanent magnet 4, on the other hand, is arranged overlapping the yoke parts 35 and 36 and applied with a bias magnetic field HB at right angles to the lengthwise direction.</p> |
