EXAMPLE:N-(p-tert-Butylbenzyl)-1-naphthalenemethylamine. USE:A germicide for farm and garden, exhibiting excellent action to disease caused by a phytopathogenic mold, e.g. gray mold, powdery mildew, sclerotinia rot and exhibiting no damage to the action by the agent to the action. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula IV is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula X-CH2-CidenticalC-R3 (X is halogen) in a solvent such as N,N-dimethylformamide, as necessary in the presence of a base (e.g. sodium carbonate) at room temperature-100 deg.C to provide the aimed compound expressed by formula I.
