PURPOSE:To facilitate correcting operation for a current estimated place by providing a marker movement key which is operated when the current place estimated by a central processor in corrected manually to move a current place marker to only a deflection point intersection on a road map. CONSTITUTION:The central processor 4 displays the estimated current position of a vehicle as the current place marker on the road map displayed on a display device 6. The marker movement key 12 is used to move the current place marker to only a deflection point or intersection on the road map. Map data classified by colors, section distances by roads, and direction data are recorded on an information recording medium 8. A set key 13 functions as a trigger means which requests the central processor 4 to estimate the current place after the current place marker is moved forcibly with the marker movement key 12. |
