PURPOSE:To upgrade mechanical strength of a superconductor by coating a surface of a substrate with a superconductive material. CONSTITUTION:Oxalic acid is used from an aqueous solution of nitrate made of respective materials Ba, La, Cu to coprecipitate BaLaCuO4 2 into a coiled steel pipe 1 molded beforehand in conformity with a purpose of its use, and next this pipe is sintered at about 900 deg.C for about 5 hours. A superconductive coil 3 is obtained by making liquid nitrogen flow inside this steel pipe 1. In the application of a magnetic enclosure type nuclear fusion furnace, for example, the superconductive coil 3 is installed around a quartz tube 4 filled with hydrogen plasma 5 so that a very strong magnetic field is obtained.
