PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of choppers, by connecting a boosting chopper and a step-down chopper between a power source device and a battery in that order. CONSTITUTION:A boosting chopper CH1 is constituted of a reactor L1, a diode D1 and a transistor Q1 while a step-down chopper CH2 is constituted of a reactor L2, another diode D2 and another transistor Q2. A boosting chopper CH1 is connected to a fuel battery FC to supply the output of the battery FC to the step-down chopper CH2 through a capacitor C1. Further, a battery B is connected to the pressure reducing chopper CH2 and a load LD is connected to the battery B through a switch SW. A voltage detector V1 for the fuel battery FC and another voltage detector VD2 for the battery B are provided and the boosting chopper CH1 and the step-down chopper CH2 are controlled by the PWM modulators Q4, Q6 respectively. According to this constitution, a predetermined electric power may be supplied from the fuel battery FC to the battery B and the load LD stably.
