<p>PURPOSE:To form the lock mechanism of a paper feeding cassette with a small number of parts by providing a latch plate which is rotated and energized in a position in which normally a stopper part locks the paper feeding cassette on a fixed part. CONSTITUTION:A cassette lock mechanism 357 is rotatably supported on the bottom part of a cassette case 354, a releasing lever 334 is fixed to one end of a shaft 333, and one end of a coil spring 335 is engaged with an engaging claw 334a, to rotatingly energize the releasing lever 334 at all times. A latch plate 336 is rotated being interlocked with the movement of the releasing lever 334, and is lapped on an engaging part 324a in its maximumly rotated position preventing a paper feeding cassette 300 from being drown out of a housing case. When the releasing lever 334 is depressed, the lock pin 337 of the latch plate 336 is fitted into the engaging groove 341a while sliding on the guide face 341b of a lock lever 341, releasing locking while also rotating a latch claw 343, to enable the draw out of the cassette 300.</p> |
