PURPOSE:To accurately feed electronic parts to a chip mounter by forming an empty chamber, having an opening at the side facing to a holding tape, in a tape support member supporting the holding tape at an opening position, and evaculating this empty chamber. CONSTITUTION:An empty chamber 12A whose upper part is opened if formed in a tape support member 12 beneath an opening position 13. This empty chamber 12A is designed so as to be evaculated by a pipe 12B connected to one end of the chamber. When a tape 9 has been fed onto the tape support member 12, the empty chamber 12A is evaculated so that the tape 9 is attracted to a top surface of the tape support member 12 by vacuum force, closely contacted with it, whereby any gap between them is brought to nothing, thus vertical vibrations of the tape 9 in the opening position 13 is prevented from occurring. Consequently, chip electronic parts 19 are accurately attracted by vacuum force to a vacuum suction nozzle 5 of a chip mounter without dancing. |
