PURPOSE:To obtain a motor having excellent cooling effect with low cost, by enclosing cooling liquid in a slot of a stator armature core formed with isolating members. CONSTITUTION:A rotor yoke 11 and a field magnet 12 are secured to the outer circumference of a rotary shaft 10 born by bearings 8, 9, such that they can rotate relative to a core type stator armature 14 through an air gap 13. Magnetic ring projections 20, 21 are projected from the inner faces of cover bodies 4, 5 coaxially with the bearings 8, 9. The ring projections 20, 21 form an isolated and enclosed cooling liquid containing section 24 together with armature coil insertion grooves (not shown) made between salient poles 22 of a stator armature core 18 and a magnetic ring 19, and silicon oil 28 is enclosed in the containing section 24. Since cooling liquid is enclosed, a brushless motor can be cooled efficiently and manufactured in small size at a reduced cost. |
