The invention relates to a door frame manufactured from sheet metal profiles of essentially U-shaped cross- section, which form the top and side pieces of the frame. The object is to define a simple, cheap door frame, which can be fixed to dividing walls of various types regardless of the design of the wall, and which by simple operations can be assembled and made into a complete unit with architraves. This is achieved in that the side pieces 12 are cut off transversely, in that the sheet profile pieces are made and arranged to accommodate wall sections between the profile side legs 16, the wall sections defining a door opening, and in that the top piece 11 and the side pieces 12 overlap one another at the corners of the frame and are provided with members 20, 21 for connection to one another by hooking in one another. <IMAGE>
