PURPOSE:To obtain a high-temperature superconductive porcelain consisting of a single phase having sharp superconductive transition, large critical electric current density and excellent superconductive characteristics, by calcining a superconductive composition of Y-Ba-Cu type by a specific method and then calcining. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive composition shown by the general formula YBa2Cu3Oy (6.5<=y<=8) is calcined in an oxygen atmosphere at 920-1,000 deg.C and then in an oxidizing atmosphere at 950-1,010 deg.C. |
