发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF RARE EARTH PERMANENT MAGNET
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve magnetic characteristics, especially those of Hc by sintering a compact which is made by mixing an alloy powder obtained by a liquid quenching alloy powder or a thin band and the other powder obtained by winding an ingot with a conventional manufacturing technique. CONSTITUTION:A R2T14B system magnetic alloy (R represents rare earth elements including Y, T represents transition metals) having elements: R-Fe-B or R-Fe-Co-B as main components is formed by a powder metallurgy technique. A powder compact containing 0-70 vol% (exclusive of 0) an alloy powder which is obtained by a liquid quenching alloy power or a thin band (amorphous and microcrystal) having compositions where Pr, Tb, Dy values are 32-100 wt% is sintered. As the compact where components of liquid and solid phases are mixed is sintered in this way, the sintered compact of a metallic structure which is highly concentrated with Dy, Tb, and Pr having a high HA only in the vicinity of an interface of a R2T14B phase, that is, a main phase in the sintered compact is obtained by using a powder as the powder to form the liquid phase component where the R2T14B phase having the HA that is higher than that of the solid phase component is formed. This approach makes it possible to obtain a magnet alloy which has little lowering of Br whilehaving a large Hc.
