PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by a method wherein the body of a vehicle is supported and guided by utilizing a repulsive force between a superconductive magnets, provided on the body, and superconductive bodies, laid on a track. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a vehicle is supported by a repulsive force, generated between supporting superconductive magnets 4-7, provided on the body 1, and superconductive bodies 3, laid along a track 2. The body 1 of the vehicle is guided by a repulsive force, generated between guiding superconductive magnets 8-11, provided on the body 1, and said superconductive bodies 3. According to this method, electric power consumption may be reduced and the repulsive force may be obtained even when the vehicle is stationary.
