PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate color judging, by obtaining the ratio between a white light W and a green light G, thereby judging the color of the skin of a fruit, and bringing the output of a sensor close to the same degree of the color. CONSTITUTION:Two cameras 206 and 216 are arranged on both sides of a conveying belt 301 so as to face in an offset state each other. The image data read by the cameras is sent to a processing device 400 through a cable 290. In the processing device 400, the diameters, external damages, and colored state of oranges are inspected based on the supplied image data. The component ratios of the total reflected light rays and the green reflected light rays from the upper and back surfaces of the fruits are classified into 64 levels. A level histogram is formed for each measuring point. With the central value as the colored state of the fruit, the objective colored state is measured. The level is expressed by (total reflected light component/green reflected light component X K'). The higher the matured degree, the higher the numerical value. |
