PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for the oral cavity, capable of synergistically enhancing inhibitory effects of alpha-bisabolol on formation of bacterial plaques and producing preventing effects on dental caries and periodontosis, by using the alpha-bisabolol with menthol, eugenol or 3-octanol together. CONSTITUTION:A composition for the oral cavity, obtained by using alpha-bisabolol with one or more compounds selected from menthol, eugenol and 3-octanol together and capable of synergistically suppressing formation of bacterial plaques by Streptococcus.mutans and effectively preventing occurrence of dental caries and periodontosis.
