PURPOSE:To improve thermal radiation efficiency, by filling root sections of magnetic teeth with non-magnetic filler having good thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:Filler 9 composed of non-magnetic material having good thermal conductivity is filled in the root sections of magnetic teeth 7 in a stator of a stepping motor, while filler 10 is also filled in the root sections of magnetic teeth 8 in a rotor core 5 of a rotor 2. Plastic having good thermal conductivity or plastic material containing metallic powder is employed as the fillers 9, 10. When the fillers 9, 10 are filled in, facing area between a coil 4 and the stator 1 increases and the heat produced in the coil 4 can be transmitted efficiently to the stator 1 and radiated.
