PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having excellent solvent cracking resistance, impact resistance, etc., by compounding a polyphenylene ether and a polyester with a specific block copolymer or graft copolymer having excellent compatibility with both polymers. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. of a polyphenylene ether is compounded with (B) 0-400pts.wt., preferably 0-350pts.wt. of an aromatic vinyl polymer, (C) 1-500pts.wt., preferably 10-350pts.wt. of a polyester, preferably PETF, PBTF, etc., (D) 1-400pts.wt., preferably 5-380pts.wt. of a block copolymer and/or graft copolymer containing at least two components selected from polyphenylene ether, olefin polymer and polyester, (E) 0-400pts.wt., preferably 5-380pts.wt. of a polyolefin and, if necessary, (F) 1-1,000pts.wt., preferably 5-800pts.wt. of an inorganic or organic filler.
