PURPOSE:To avoid the occurrence of a time lag as well as to make smooth palletizing work attainable, by temporarily transferring a train of incoming works one after another to a temporary mounting table for the duration a lifter rises from a lowermost position to a work transfer stand-by position. CONSTITUTION:In front of the terminal end part of a work feeding conveyor 30, there are provided with each of temporary work mounting tables 54 and 54 being horizontally projectable in noncontact with both sides of a lifter 40. These tables 54 are pivotally attached to a rod 62 of a cylinder 60 and controlled into a horizontal position and pendulousness by motion in protraction and retraction of the rod 62. Making full use of the timing that the lifter 40 gets lifting from the lowermost position, each of cylinders 60 and 60 is energized for operation whereby these temporary work mounting tables 54 and 54 protrude horizontally at a frontward position of the conveyor 30 and wait for the transfer of a work 12. As a result, the work 12 subjected to suction by a robot 42 is transferred to these temporary mounting tables 54 and 54 for the time being. |
