PURPOSE:To obtain the titled stable and inexpensive composition useful for emergent water stopping construction or improvement in rotation ratio of mold for secondary product plants, having a long pot life in kneading with water, by blending a cement with a setting adjuster consisting of finely divided metallurgical slag, anhydrous gypsum of II type and a setting retarder of organic acid type and an alkali carbonate. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. Portland cement or mixed cement is blended with (B) 10-70pts.wt. finely divided metallurgical slag containing >=50wt.% calcium aluminate compound mainly comprising 12CaO.7Al2O3, having 2,000-4,000cm<2>/g Blaine value, (C) 4-40pts.wt. anhydrous gypsum of II type end (D) 0.5-5pts.wt. setting retarder comprising (a) 1pt.wt. setting retarder of organic acid type selected from citric acid, tartaric acid, gluconic acid or a salt thereof and (b) 0.5-7pts.wt. alkali carbonate (e.g. Na2CO3). |
