PURPOSE:To make controls of various kinds rationally by controlling the height and attitude of a car body to supply and discharge air through a control valve and a variable orifice and the like to and from an air spring chamber of an air suspension and by controlling a ride of the car by the air spring chamber with a sub-tank itself at the same time. CONSTITUTION:An air suspension which has a damper 3 whose damping force is adjusted by an actuator 3a is installed between a car body 1 and a wheel 2. Air is supplied into and discharged from an air spring chamber 5 to adjust a car height and a sub-tank 5a is connected to the air spring chamber 5 through a variable orifice 4. The car height is always detected by a car height sensor 6. On the other hand, a control valve 7 is installed between the air spring chamber 5 and an air pressure reservoir 8, and a stop valve 9 is installed between the control valve 7 and the air spring chamber 5. At this time the height and the attitude of the car body are controlled by controlling the control valve 7 and the stop valve 9 and the ride of the car is controlled by controlling the variable orifice 4 and the actuator 3a by a controller 10. |
