PURPOSE:To infallibly and easily specify the target component part by a method wherein the symbols and the like, with which component parts can be recognized, are displayed on a chip. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to the memory cell 7, which is a component part, symbols 10-13 with which the position of said memory cell 7 can be recognized are displayed on a chip. The symbols 10-13 indicated on the chip show the position of the address both in the row direction and the column direction of the memory cell 7 respectively. Accordingly, first, the mark approximate to the target address is looked for, and when the line of small number is calculated using said mark as an index, the target line can be selected. As a result, the target component part, namely, the memory cell 7 can be specified easily and infallibly. |
