PURPOSE:To attain remote control only for a designated equipment by selecting only an instruction code within a range designated by a standby equipment selection switch among various instruction codes corresponding to operation keys and sending the result. CONSTITUTION:Equipment selection switches 7d, 7e for designating objective devices 20, 30 for remote control are provided and they are used to designate in advance the objective equipment 20, 30. When operation keys 4d, 4e for power ON or OFF are operated, an instruction code is generated from an instruction code generating means 9 and the equipment 20, 30 selected and designated in advance by the equipment selection switches 7d, 7e are subjected to remote control.
