PURPOSE:To make abrasion and faults hard to occur and to make it possible to form a thin time piece, by arranging a plurality of spiral wirings on the rotary loci of the magnetic bodies of hands. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of spiral wirings 10 are provided on circular rotary loci 8a, 8b and 8c of the magnetic-body parts of an hour hand 2a, a minute hand 2b and a second hand 2a. To set a time, pulses for 360 deg. rotation are sent to the hour hand, the minute hand ad the second hand by pushing a rest button 16 so that 12-hour/0-minute/0-second is reset even if the hands are stopped at any positions when a power source is turned ON. After resetting, setting buttons 16, 18 and 20 are pushed for the hour hand, the minute hand and the second hand with manual operation. One pulse is transmitted for every button, and an arbitrary time is set. When a driving mechanism without gear is used in an analog time piece in this way, abrasion and faults are hard to occur, and the time piece can be made thin.
