The support link carries an insulated cable suspended from poles or similar supports. It facilitates drawing the cable into position and subsequently clamping it. The support link has an eye (15) by which it is hung, on a hook, from the pole (2). The eye forms part of a structure made of bent rod (11) which holds the cable clamp (6', 7',9) and it its locking device (19,22). It also forms two loop sections (10), spaced further apart than the length of the clamp (6',7'). - These loop sections support the cable whilst it is being drawn into position with the clamp open. After positioning the clamp is screwed up (19,22) and the cable thus secured axially. The design makes the task of installation easier and safer for the installer.(2/5) |
