PURPOSE:To provide compatibility with a video disk player by reproducing video images in two directions having a parallax from both sides of a disk simultaneously and displaying the video image of each direction on a monitor for 1/60sec each. CONSTITUTION:The video signal in two directions having a parallax is recorded on both sides of a video disk 1. The video signal is reproduced simultaneously by using pickups 11, 12 from each side of the video disk 1 and given to 3D processing circuits 411-413, 421-423 in processing circuits 41, 42 via Y/C separation circuits 41, 42 and the video image of each direction is displayed on a monitor 2 for each 1/60sec via a switching circuit 100. Then a stereoscopic video image is obtained by observing a picture through spectacles whose left/ right shutters a switched synchronously with the pattern. |
