A series of vices (2) are arranged in sequence along a foundation(3). These form a system for the repeat machining of several workpieces in succession by different tools . Sensors are provided for the initial positioning of the machine tools. - Each vice has a fixed jaw (9) and an adjustable jaw (7) engaging the rack (35). The workpiece may also be held by a rotatable gripping unit (11) with angled faces. And there are further supporting grips (13) protruding from the jaw faces (2). |
