PURPOSE:To provide a photosensitive body having high sensitivity and excellent repeating stability by incorporating a photosensitive layer contg. a specific azo compd. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body has the photosensitive layer contg. the azo compd. expressed by formula I. In formula I, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, halogen atom, cyano group or nitro group; Ar1, Ar2 denote an arom. hydrocarbon ring or heterocyclic group; Cp denotes a residual coupler group having phenolic OH. The azo pigment having fluorenone structure at the center and polyazo structure as expressed by formula I is used as a photoconductive material of the photosensitive body, by which the photosensitive body capable of exhibiting the excellent characteristics in the sensitivity and repeating stability is prepd. |
