PURPOSE:To improve operability in a simple constitution and to facilitate manufacturing, by moving a planar wall in the horizontal direction through a rotatable supporting rod of a sample container, to which a measuring sensor is attached, and moving the liquid level of a sample up and down. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable supporting rod 4 is moved forward in the horizontal direction and a wall 3 is made to advance. The liquid level of a sample liquid 5 in a sample container 1 is lifted and brought into contact with a measuring sensor part, which is provided on the back surface of a measuring probe 2. A current is supplied to the sensor part through a current applying terminal. The change in potential is detected through an output terminal.
