PURPOSE:To contrive a mechanized sealer-injecting operation and securely inject a sealer into a predetermined part, by disposing detecting parts of first and second position detectors on the upstream and downstream sides of an injection neelde with respect to a feeding direction of an extrudate, and driving a sealer-injecting pump only while the presence of the extrudate is detected, thereby intermittently injecting the sealer. CONSTITUTION:When an extrudate W is manually inserted between bending finishing rolls 20, 20, the extrudate W is pulled by the rolls 20, 20, so that a U-shaped clamping part 2 is bent to an opening angle of about 0 deg., and immediately before the bending, a sealer is injected into the clamping part 2 by an injection needle 23 slidden relative to an open bottom part of the clamping part 23. A pump is so operated as to intermittently eject the sealer according to signals from first and second photoelectric light-receiving tubes (detecting parts) 25, 26, so that the sealer is securely insected to a predetermined part excluding a predetermined length part at each end of the product. Since the opening angle of the U-shaped clamping part 2 is 10-40 deg., no large frictional resistance is generated between the needle 23a and clamping lips 6, 7, and the extrudate W is smoothly conveyed.
