摘要 PURPOSE:To detect fine conductive substance contained in a glass fiber at a high speed with a high accuracy by checking light emitted from a conductive substance contained in a glass fiber to be detected or a processed product thereof placed in a high frequency irradiation chamber. CONSTITUTION:An object 6 to be detected enters a high frequency irradiation chamber 2 through a slit 5 and then, leaves the chamber 2 through the slit 5 after irradiated with a high frequency. When placed in the high frequency irradiation chamber 2, a conductive material 6 emits light like a spark accompanying sound. The light emitted is detected with a detector 3. A signal outputted from the detector 3 is utilized as input signal for an actuator 4 in the production process.
