PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a transistor inverter by providing a capacitor which is charged by a power source through a large resistance value and supplying as a drive current the charging charge to a transistor at the time of starting an oscillation, thereby reducing the power loss. CONSTITUTION:A pair of transistors 7, 8 are alternately conducted to generate an AC output at a power transformer 6, and the output of the feedback coil N5 of a transformer 6 is rectified by a rectifier 15 to drive the respective transistors 7, 8. A large resistance resistor 18 and a capacitor 18 are connected to a power source, the charging charge of the capcitor 19 is fed as a drive current through a voltage firing thyristor 20 at the time of starting the oscillation. Accordingly, when the chrge of the capacitor 19 becomes higher than the breakover voltage of the thyristor 10, the oscillation is started by the discharge, and the oscillation is continued thereafter by the current of the feedback coil N5. Therefore, the efficiency can be improved by eliminating the loss of the starting resistor. |
