PURPOSE:To prevent an error of a diagnostic inspection by constituting the titled device so that the correction quantity of a contour correcting signal can be change by an external operating means. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor 11 is placed in an adder 9-3 for generating contour correcting signals in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction by a vertical contour correcting device 7 and a horizontal contour correcting device 8, and generating a contour correcting signal by adding said signals, so that its variable resistor 11 can be controlled and adjusted by an external operating knob 12. In such a way, by controlling and adjusting the variable resistor 11 by the external operating knob 12, the image contour correction quantity generated by the adder 9-3 is changed, and a diagnosis and an inspection can be executed exactly.
