PURPOSE:To obtain a dental washing needle easy to use, by constituting the washing needle so that a needle tube is made of a freely bendable metal and the leading end thereof is closed and a washing solution jet orifice is provided to the side wall of the leading end part of said needle tube. CONSTITUTION:A washing needle is constituted of a needle base 1 and a needle tube 2. The needle tube 2 is composed of a freely bendable metal and has a washing solution passage 3 provided therein and the leading end thereof is closed and washing solution jet orifices 4 are provided to the side wall of the leading end part of the needle tube 2 one at a time on the opposite sides thereof in the lateral direction so as to be positionally shifted in the longitudinal direc tion of the needle tube. This washing needle is mounted to the leading end of a syringe barrel, which is filled with the washing solution such as a 10% sodium hypochlorite solution or 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, before use. The washing needle can be bent at an arbitrary angle in an arbitrary direction at the arbitrary position of the needle tube in the longitudinal direction accord ing to an area necessary for washing. Therefore, the washing needle can be also easily inserted in a curved root canal and is extremely convenient in use. |
