The motor (1) comprises a sensing part (3) and a controlling part (6) . The stator is independently wound in each phase (2 phase, 3 phase, ... M phase). The rotor has the pole members of 2 N (2 pole, 4 pole, .... 2N pole). The multi-phase bipolar brushless DC motor is smoothly rotated by the controlling signal which supplies rectangular wave electric current.
