PURPOSE:To obtain a heater tube with a long life by kneading, molding, drying, and baking the specific composition material added with alumina powder to the combination material using SiC grains and Si3N4 grains as main component raw materials. CONSTITUTION:The composition material added with alumina powder 0.5-20pts. wt. with the grain size of at least 105mu or less to the combination material using Sic grains and Si3N4 grains as main component raw materials is kneaded, molded, dried, and baked to produce a heater tube. SiC is used as the main aggregate (rough-fine grains), the Si3N4 quantity of the binding member (fine grains) liable to be reacted with flux is decreased, and Al2O3 is added. The deterioration of the useful life of the heater tube in an aluminum holding furnace can be thereby prevented. |
