PURPOSE:To cope with a flat cable with a half pitch and prevent the open circuit of a core wire by providing a specific pressing section. CONSTITUTION:A pressing section 10 forms a pair of mating pieces 11 by folding a conductive plate at the desired position, and sharp sections 12, 13 to strip insulating film connection sections of both insulated electric wires when a flat cable is pressed are formed at tip sections of both mating pieces 11 respectively and protruded on the mating face sides of the mating pieces 11. The first protruded section 16 to set the mating distance between the mating pieces 11 is formed, and the second protruded section 17 to strip the insulating film sections of the insulated electric wires of both flat cables is formed between the first protruded section 16 and the sharp sections 12, 13. A flat cable with a half core wire pitch can be thereby coped with, scratches are hardly generated, no twisting stress is applied, and the open circuit of the core wire can be prevented. |
