PURPOSE:To make it possible to furnish three circuits or more of gas switches in parallel by furnishing a turning-in/turning-out operation device to drive the switching members in a gas switch at the front side of gas switches which compose the multicircuit switch. CONSTITUTION:At the tips of plural nut pipes 20a fixed at the front side of a switch case 7, a plate-formed front panel 20 is installed by bolts 20b to which the nut pipes 20a are screwed in. And in a space between the switch case 7 which is kept in a large space by a recess 8, and the front panel 20, a turning-in/turning-out operation device B is arranged. When the pressure in the switch case 7 is reduced, a locking member 31 furnished at the position responding to an operating lever 22 of each switching member A of a locking bar 30 which is constructed at the upper right and left ends of the turning-in/turning-out operation device B is arranged within the rotation route of the operating lever 22 to prevent the turning-in and the turning-out operations by the rotation of operation shafts 21. And when an operation handle is geared to the operation shaft 21 to operate the rotation, the switching members A are turned in and turned out easily. In such a composition, it is not necessary to arrange the turning-in/turning-out device on the upper side of the switch case.
