PURPOSE:To enable a drive rope to be always driven in a constant state and correctly by providing a guide groove along a periphery on which a drive rope is hooked in loop and at the same time, racks with which the screw part of the rope is engaged at a prearranged interval at a proper angle, in the guide groove. CONSTITUTION:A drive rope 10 is introduced into a guide groove 21 provided on a periphery 20a of a transmission wheel 20, and the screw part 12 of the rope is wrapped around the periphery 20a of the transmission wheel 20 in such a manner that the screw part may be meshed with racks 22. Under this state, the transmission wheel 20 is allowed to rotate, resulting in the sequential engagement of the screw part 12 with the racks of the rotating transmission wheel 20 to be driven while the drive rope 10 is guided along the guide groove 21 of the transmission wheel 20. In addition, if the upper edge of the racks 22 is beveled, the screw part 12 screw part 22 to be engaged with the racks 22 satisfactorily at the time of rotation.
