PURPOSE:To arrange a coil terminal easily by clamping one side of the winding start and winding end of a coil, holding leads among a plurality of coils formed by a transfer tool and conducting indexing by a motor. CONSTITUTION:A wire 15 set up to an arm 13 for a flyer 12 is connected to a connecting section 20 for a clamp 18, and the flyer 12 is turned. The wire 15 slips down between grades 10 for transfer tools 8B while being revolved around a spool 16, and the flyer 12 is stopped when the number of turns reaches a specified number, thus acquiring a first coil for a stator. The wire 15 is released from the clamp 18, and the wire 15 is gripped by a gripper 21 lifted by energizing a cylinder 27. The transfer tools 8B and 8A are replaced by an index motor 3, a binding section 4 and a turntable 7, and the wire 15 is wound onto the transfer tool 8A in a fixed number, thus shaping a second coil. The process is repeated in a predetermined number. Accordingly, the sag of the wire between the coils is reduced, thus easily treating terminals.
