PURPOSE:To prevent a pressure receiving diaphragm from deforming or breaking by arranging a backup plate between the pressure receiving flank of a body main body and the pressure receiving diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Backup plates 9 and 10 are provided between pressure receiving diaphragms 3 and 4 arranged on the pressure-reception side flanks 1a and 1b of the body main body and when excessive pressure is applied, the plates 9 and 10 bear the diaphragms 3 and 4, which are prevented from deforming or breaking. When the diaphragms 3 and 4 and plates 9 and 10 are manufactured, on the other hand, forming materials 32 and 33 are arranged one over the other and pressed against a die 30 with a punch 31 to form the diaphragms 3 and 4 and plates 9 and 10 at a time. In this case, wrinkle pressers 36 are provided on the peripheral surface of the punch 31 so that no wrinkles are formed on the formed bodies 32 and 33 at the time of drawing. Further, projections 37 and recess parts 38 are provided to the peripheral edge parts of the abutting surfaces of the die 30 and punch 31 and annular projections are provided to the peripheral edge parts of the diaphragms 3 and 4 and plates 9 and 10 to prevent the diaphragms 3 and 4 and plates 9 and 10 from shifting from each other when assembled.
