<p>PURPOSE:To purify domestic waste water with a simple structure by forming the interval between adjacent fiber plates into the passage of the domestic waste water. CONSTITUTION:Domestic waste water flows in a drainage path 8 and refuse or the like is removed in a screen 12 and thereafter flows between fiber plates 3 of respective purifying equipments 1. Since a stop weir 11 is provided to the downstream part of this drainage path 8, waste water is made to prescribed depth in the parts of the purifying equipments 1 and slowly flows while being brought into contact with the surfaces of respective fiber plates 3 of the equipments 1 in a prescribed area. Aerobic microorganisms are stuck on respective fiber plates 3 by the contact of waste water and bred on the plates 3 while decomposing organic material contained in waste water. As a result, waste water is purified and the purified treatment water overflows from the stop weir 11 and flows to the river.</p> |
