PURPOSE:To prevent a microwave feeding means and a motor from being abnormally heated and failing by prohibiting the excitation of the microwave feeding means and the motor and reporting an abnormality under an abnormal condition that a fan is not driven even though the motor is being excited. CONSTITUTION:A microwave feeding means 1 feeding microwaves to a heating chamber, a cooling means 13 constituted of a fan 14 and its drive motor 15 and generating the cooling air to cool the microwave feeding means 1, a detecting means 28 detecting an abnormal condition that the fan 14 is not driven even though the motor 15 is being excited, a prohibiting means 16 prohibiting the excitation of the microwave feeding means 1 and the drive motor 15 when an abnormality is detected by the detecting means 18, and a reporting means 21 reporting an abnormality when the abnormality is detected by the detecting means 18 are provided. The microwave feeding means 1 and the motor 15 are thereby prevented from being abnormally heated and failing.
