PURPOSE:To provide favorable sealing by disposing a flexible fitting foot and an elastic seat ring a the back of pressure contact face of a valve body and shaping a sliding contact area and a pressure contact face in the inclined form, thereby forcing the pressure contact face of the valve body onto a seal face irrespective of the direction of fluid pressure. CONSTITUTION:A seat ring 1 has a flexible fitting foot 4 and a sliding part 5 and its end face 5a is formed as an inclined face directed toward the fitting foot 4 with reduction in thickness. A pressure contact face 7b of a split ring 7 on which the end face of the sliding part is pressed is formed as an inclined face opposite to said face. A fluid pressure applied in any direction is thereby translated into a force which strongly presses the pressure contact face 2 of the valve body against a seal face of the valve body 11, providing tight sealing. |
