PURPOSE:To obtain a test compsn. which has good stability with age and a testing implement deposited therewith by using an alpha-hydroperoxyisopropyl phenyl compd. contg. the compd. expressed by the specific formula or another specific formula and an oxidation coloration indicator as the test compsn. CONSTITUTION:The alpha-hydroperoxyisopropyl phenyl compd. contg. the compd. expressed by the formula I or the formula II is used as the org. hydroperoxide of the test compsn. consisting of the org. hydroperoxide and coloration indicator and the testing implement deposited therewith. The test compsn. which has the stability with age and maintains good detection sensitivity even after long- term storage as well as the testing implement deposited therewith are thereby obtd.
