PURPOSE:To obtain a multicore plate type electrical wire exposed terminal portions of the flat rectangular conductors of which can be fitted directly into connectors respectively by making the said conductors with laminated layers of flat rectangular conductors. CONSTITUTION:A flat rectangular conductor 1 is constructed by laminating thin rectangular conductors 11, 12, and a wire A is constructed by arranging the said conductors 1 parallel to each other at every specified spacing in a common insulating layer 2. Such conductor 1 is made only by laminating thin rectangular conductors 11, 12, hence it has much more flexibity than that of one flat rectangular conductor of same cross section. To make the terminal portion of the conductor 1, for example, exposed conductors 11, 12 are welded partially to each other with a resistance welder 3. Then the wire is cut at the center of the central welded portion. Thereby the bottom portion and the tip portion [a] of the exposed conductors 11, 12 are welded, so that the terminal portion cannot be separated in pieces, and the stiffness of which is increased by work hardening of the material, and the terminal portions can be fitted directly into connectors with a female contactor 4a respectively.
